A joke… programmers while coding. “It doesn’t work…Why? It work…. Why?

I never really felt fulfilled when it came to my life. I felt like I never belonged anywhere. I tried different things, like going to college, and university and I did okay, but I never really felt that I have found a place in the world. I have been working in the restaurant industry for over 8 years and build my way up from a line cook to General manager. I was miserable in that field. I am 28 years old and all my life up to the point when COVID started I was able to pause my life, take a moment, and really decide what path I want to take. I have dabbled with coding back in high school and I love it at the time but life took a turn and I never really had the time to pursue it until Covid-19 hit. I decided to try it out again and took a few independent courses and I fell inlove with it. I have not stopped coding since the first day I took a course on Udemy.com. I then decided to do some research, and this is how I found Juno college. What instantly caught my eye is when you go on their website you can see people’s experiences and the amount of people that have thanked the school and the whole staff for helping them with their journey and finding a job. This is when I spoke to the amazing staff and they set me up with the Web development course with the some amazing instructors and all of the mentors that helped me to finish the course. I was hooked. Everyone is so warm and helpful I have never experienced anything like it. I feel so welcomed and heard, and it finally feels like I belong somewhere. For once in my life I know my direction and path and I know what steps to take to achieve my goal which is to be a front end developer

For the past year since COVID-19 started I have continuously strived to improve and gain more and more knowledge on the aspects of web development. I have been tirelessly completing independent online courses as well as Juno accelerated courses to build the basic knowledge so that I am able to excel in the amazing Juno bootcamp. I can now create more dynamic and responsive websites and with the newly learned JavaScript skills I could apply the foundation I learned to a given Html and CSS page and make it functional. My dedication, self improvement, and the improvement I gained from completing the Juno courses has inspired me to fully commit my time to the 9-week bootcamp where I can fully apply my leadership skills and hard work from my previous job experiences. I understand that in order to be a web developer you need to be able to work in a team environment and this skill along with the passion I have for coding is what I am best at. I am the most driven and motivated I have ever been and I am hungry to learn and keep on learning.
